The Training and Lifelong Learning Center) of Democritus University of Thrace is an Independent Academic Unit based on the national and European institutional framework for Lifelong Learning.

Every action of the University and its members related to training, continuous education, skill development, and lifelong learning is mandatory and conducted through the Training and Lifelong Learning Center of Democritus University of Thrace. It is governed by the rules set forth by the institutional framework, the Senate, and the Operating Regulations. The Center has the authority to organize and implement any type of project related to lifelong learning, particularly non-formal education programs that lead to the issuance of corresponding certificates.
